Biography:
Mirko Kiave was born in Cosenza on March 2nd, 1981. His first meeting with Hip Hop happens casually at the age of fourteen by listening to the radio and right after that (exactly the day of his fifteenth birthday) he bought the tape SxM of the Band Sangue Misto … right from this point he got keen on writing rhymes. He got the opportunity to become known, at that time dj Luigi was very active in organizing live shows and the historical radio network based in Cosenza "Radio Ciroma" had a show which gave a chance to all Hip Hop Mc's to be put on air. In 1996 he is involved with some rhymes in the Mixtape by Dj Luigi titled "Soul Train" and this was his first experience in a recording studio. Changing several crews and following also another aspect of hip hop (the writing), in 1997 he releases his first official work with Iken and Nerba, two other MCs from his hometown Cosenza. The three Mc's alternate each other on 4 beats by Zope, recording a tape titled "Internos", the name of the crew is "Dietro Le Quinte". Their work got the attention and some good interest all around the country and it was especially appreciated by both public and critic. Kiave keeps on attending various jam sessions and starts performing his first live experiences with D.L.Q crew, along with his friend Macro Marco and then with the Paola Tribe band (Otto, Dest, Tritone, Macro). In 1999, in a jam in Rome, he knew Dj Impro and Franco and together with them he founded his present band, the "Migliori Colori", which has already released an album titled "Rullanti Distorti". In 2000 he co-operated for the new album of Turi "Salviamo il salvabile" for the track "Pane a chi non ha denti". This is the year during which he starts knowing all the Italian hip hop scene by joining Turi in his shows, at present time they share various live shows. In 2002 he wrote 8 tracks with "Migliori Colori", all of them available on the web page http://stage.vitaminic.it/main/migliori_colori/all_tracks/. Later he was featured in the new album by Turi "L'amico degli Amici" and with his band "Migliori Colori" he took part to the 3rd issue of Da Bomb Magazine and to the compilation by R.I.N. Radio italia Netword titled "Street Flava 2nd Avenue".
At present time he is spending his time between Viterbo, Cosenza and Rome in order to work on some new projects and to organize the lives for Turi, "Migliori Colori" and also a series of shows as solo artist.
